Luise Terletzki-Scherf experimented with bronze, majolica and stone. But it is only in the fine shards of the homemade Nymphenburg porcelain that the sculptures she designed develop their highest sculptural quality. As with her animal figures, the Aschaffenburg artist also carried out countless nature studies to depict her circus artists. The colorful combo, which still delights today with its playful, almost childishly naive charm, is full of emotion.
