Year of the Dragon

FABULOUS DRAGONS 龙年
We know the Tibetan Druk, the Greek Typhon or the shaggy Fuchur from Michael Ende's "The Neverending Story". These dragons are sometimes invisible but unmistakable, as terrifying as they are eloquent or gentle and full of empathy.
In Chinese culture, the dragon has another meaning: it stands for goodness, luck and health. That is why the Year of the Dragon is something special. When the Chinese New Year "Long Nian", the Year of the Dragon, begins on February 10, 2024, the time of possibilism also begins. Twelve months full of promises and possibilities, a phase in which ideas are implemented, families or companies are founded and people develop personally.
For this occasion, we have made a medallion out of celadon, a jade-green porcelain, with a delicately carved dragon relief. It can be hung anywhere on its silk cord with a decorative tassel: on the door, above the desk, on the window frame, next to the sofa or bed.
A talisman for the home or office, a positive sign for the coming year. The porcelain coin protects and encourages, inspires and is as decorative as it is magical.
If you want to give special people the gift of happiness and health, you can also have the dragon medallion personalized with a dedication on the back. The good thoughts will accompany the recipient until the next dragon year in 2036.

Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory
Nymphenburg is the last pure manufactory of its kind. Since its foundation in 1747, the manufactory of the Bavarian royal family has cultivated the fine art of porcelain production. To this day, manu factum means: made entirely by hand using techniques that are passed down and preserved from generation to generation.
