Venice is always a place that makes you open your eyes wide. The cicchetti in the bars are small works of art, the canals reflect the distorted shapes of the countless briccole, the wooden posts, and the flags in front of the basilica dance an eternal ballet. Now in September there is even more reason to be amazed: the "Homo Faber" exhibition. Over 400 artists from 70 countries are showing more than 800 objects and celebrating "The Journey of Life" in the lagoon city. Filigree works made of paper or bamboo, sculptures made of feathers, glass, cardboard - here you can experience handcraft at its finest. Of course, porcelain art is also a must, which is why we drove - piano, piano - over the Brenner Pass and brought flowers with us: Cumberland, the most elaborate decoration in the world and Generation T, the modern interpretation of Hella Jongerius.
