Color Lab
Nymphenburg colors are known for their luminosity, purity and richness of nuance. That is why Nymphenburg has had its own color laboratory since it was founded in 1747. There, all the colors used for painting are produced and mixed in-house from thousands of pigments and color boxides. Countless gradations of each color exist - for example, 300 different shades of green alone have been developed in the manufactory's color laboratory over the course of time. The color archive contains around 15,000 secret color formulas spanning three centuries. Each of them can be faithfully reproduced. Customers, for whom Nymphenburg has developed its own color scale, can therefore have missing service parts or individual pieces repainted in the colors developed for them at any time.
