Training as a building ceramicist for the Majolica sector (m/f/d)
The Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory is looking for trainees (m/f/d) to become building ceramicists in the majolica department as soon as possible.
Nymphenburg is the porcelain manufactory of the Bavarian royal family. Since its foundation in 1747, the fine art of porcelain production has been cultivated in Nymphenburg. Manu Factum here means to this day: made entirely by hand using techniques that are passed down and preserved from generation to generation. This is the only way to guarantee the unmatched finesse, sophistication and brilliance of the porcelain on which Nymphenburg's global reputation is based. The manufactory's master workshops produce style-defining and custom-made designs from four centuries, ahead of their time - designed to this day by the most renowned artists, architects and designers.
Your requirements profile:
• Excellent drawing and painting skills
• Strong spatial imagination
• At least a qualifying extended secondary school certificate
• Skilled craftsmanship
• Enjoy working in a committed team
• High ability to concentrate
• Great interest in art and design
Your area of responsibility:
• Painting of figures and services in different techniques
according to historical specifications
We offer you training in the last purest factory in the world. You will learn how to specialize in your future field of work during your training. You should be motivated to support a small team in a traditional production company. You should also be sociable, as we like to allow our customers to visit our workshops.
If you are interested in these varied tasks, we look forward to receiving your detailed application with extracts from your own work.
